Overweight

Thinking about loosing weight puts us in a position of avoiding something we don’t want (to much weight). This implies going away from the weight we don’t want instead of going toward the weight of our desires. We prefer to offer the term of “weight management” and to collaborate with you on your challenge expressed as a positive outcome such as imagining the body you wish. Hypnotherapy can help you in your weight management in different aspects: to motivate you in organizing your environnement (suppress the availability of caloric food in the cupboard), to reflect on your behaviors (eating and exercising habits), be conscious of your capabilities (how you deal with hunger, how you choose your food, organize your meals, what you know about nutrition and the metabolism), to question your limiting beliefs (loosing weight is difficult, I don’t deserve it) and construct sustaining beliefs (I can be slim if I want, it is worth, I deserve it), to reflect on your identity and self-esteem (having a positive image of yourself as a thin person), to find the connection of your goal on a transpersonal level (how does the fact of achieving the weight you want relate with your purpose or life mission).
